Moored in Peace

This piece captures a sunset at the Aylmer Marina in Québec, which was a place I called home for ten years, and a landscape that shaped who I am. The glowing horizon melts from golden yellow to deep blue, shining across the still water and reflecting the silhouettes of docked boats and tall masts. It’s a quiet moment full of colour, memory, and meaning.

For me, the marina was more than a view. It was the place to hang out, to breathe, to connect. The friendships I made there have stayed with me throughout my life. Drawing this scene felt like returning home and letting the sunset hold all the nostalgia, magic, and peace of that chapter of my life.
